Helloworld and the Fairfax Traveller site approach the travel market from two different sides. Helloworld has the big data: products, prices in real time and seasonal trends. Fairfax has the editorial expertise: telling the stories that inspire people to travel. This project aimed to create a series of contextual widgets that fairfax could use to bring the best of both approaches together. Several widgets were developed for a range of editorial uses that allowed users to immediately see prices and link to bookable product directly from the content they were reading.
